African Leadership Forum

Background and Introduction

African Leadership magazine is putting together this forum, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, as a global platform for showcasing the continent’s contributions to the world, while fostering the debate on building a strong and virile Africa in these disruptive times. It is an avenue for shinning the spotlight on the trends, opportunities and challenges facing Africa while sharing experiences and best practices on moving beyond good intentions to action. The forum also seeks to highlight other key issues affecting the continent’s future such as gender mainstreaming; Harnessing the power and potential of Africa’s Young people, rethinking Africa’s security and counter terrorism strategies; and availing investors an insight into the investment climates and opportunities in diverse sectors of Africa’s ecosystems.

Several African presidential delegations, private sector leaders, government officials and other relevant stakeholders are expected to attend from Tanzania, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya Seychelles, Ethiopia, Mauritius and others.
