Kenya Airways: New Flight Operations To Cape Town

A new development has occurred in Kenya Airways’ flight schedule as there will now be three non-stop flights from its facility at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Cape Town, South Africa. This would aid in expanding its network across Africa, thereby creating avenues for trade, investment and tourism.

At the moment, the airline operates seven flights to Cape Town every week. Three weekly flights via the resort town of Victoria Falls on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, four flights via Livingstone, Zambia, departing Nairobi on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. This brings about a total of 10 weekly flights to Cape Town from Nairobi.

The non-stop flights to Cape Town, South Africa will depart Nairobi, Kenya on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 3:30pm.

“We are indeed very proud to increase our frequencies to South Africa to cater for the growing number of our customers who travel between Nairobi and Cape Town. In addition to enhancing Africa integration, this new route will be beneficial to the tourism industry as it establishes vital links with our global network,” said the Kenya Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Vincent Coste.
