Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
African Leaderships (UK) Limited partners with Centre for Economic and Leadership Development (CELD) to deliver its CSR initiatives. CELD is a leading gender empowerment, human capacity, and development-based organization – currently in special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UNECOSOC), and renowned as a leader in developing inclusive leadership, educational and socio-economic empowerment of emerging economies, particularly in Africa, and also the developing countries of the middle East, South America and Asia.
Some of its initiatives include:
- Send a Child to School Program – This provide orphans and vulnerable children the opportunity to achieve their full potential through scholarships, educational support and assistance.
- Back to Africa Campaign – This provides opportunities to African Young people in the diaspora, who have not visited Africa to have an opportunity to experience life in rural Africa.
- Wilson Giami Educational Endowment Program – This specialized Educational Fund, set up in honor of Late Wilson Giami, father to the Founder of the organization is targeted at supporting indigent students from the Founder’s place of birth.
